Becoming a Member of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce
I succumbed to the pressure and the Chamber's marketing tactics.
Just kidding.
Back in 2018, I happily donated a box of fresh roses and a gift certificate to my first, in-person, because-of-Privé event. I was happy to have people seeing my product after starting my business somewhat hidden as an online-only shop. So my then-boyfriend and I got dressed and away we went to the 94th Annual Arlington Business Gala at the The Ritz-Carlton in Pentagon City.

Three years later (and sporting another hair color), I decided it was time to take the plunge and become a member of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. I still have to do some work and set a time with my "ambassador" for the Chamber onboarding.
In case I don't get to (schedules are tight these days), I signed myself up for an in-person "Business After Business" event, at WHINO in the Ballston Quarter. THIS got me excited! People... look at them! (That's my extroverted self extroverting! JK).
Maybe I'll run into my Ambassador and catch up with her then.
